5. Have or Get a Mind for Details

To become a franchise owner, you have to pay close attention to details. For starters, you'll need to know everything that's in the contract between you and the company you're representing. 


Beyond that, you'll need to learn bookkeeping, special software systems, ordering, inventory control, and various aspects of digital and physical marketing. You will wear many details, and you have to be mentally prepared to do so.
